Month ago we discovered a bagel shop in the old town. This spot which has great location run by childhood friends.
There is a small terrace, you can eat in the shop or order takeaway. Through the window you can see different types of fresh housemade bread, there is a choice of 5 different bread toppings: poppy or sesame seeds, plain, garlic & cheese or «all in one». All bagels are home-made and made with organic unbleached flour from the Verpilleres farm in Choulex.
This place is very right for a quick lunch, we were served straight away. We tried 2 different bagels: one was Champel ( with pastrami and cheddar cheese) and the second was Plainpalais (chicken with Gruyère). They were delicious, you can feel the freshness of the bread which was Baked the same morning. As to dessert, we chose some home-made cheesecake for two, and there is only one word to describe it – YUMMY! The owners are friendly and hospitable.
In case you want to order just bagel bread, you need to place your order 24 hours before. In addition ThreeKids offers you a catering service for different events. They propose various local home-made drinks, for example: Vitalay iced tea or apple juice from Meinier. We are very happy that we have more and more restaurants / cafes / food corners with local products and home-made food in Geneva run by young and creative people!
